ACDSee 는 아주 유명한 프로그램입니다. 특히 2.43 버전은 아직도 쓰시는 분들이 꽤 있습니다.

하지만 2.43 버전은 유니코드 지원이 되지 않는 치명적인 약점이 있습니다.

파일명이 일본어나 중국어로 되어 있는 경우 간혹 어떤 파일 같은 경우는 2.43 버전으로 그림 파일을 볼 수가 없죠.

ACDSee Free 는 썸네일 브라우저 같은 기능은 없습니다.

그냥 단순히 사진 파일을 더블클릭해서 보고자 할때 좋은 선택입니다.

BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, TGA, TIFF, WBMP, PCX, PIC, WMF, EMF 확장자를 지원합니다.

아쉽게도  RAW 파일과 ICO 파일은 지원하지 않습니다.

사용하기 쉽고 가장 기본적인 기능을 갖춘 이미지 뷰어를 찾으신다면 바로 ACDSee Free 를 추천해 드립니다.

실행시에 acdseefreeintouch2.exe 가 메모리에 상주합니다. ACDSee 로부터 각종 광고안내를 하는 프로그램입니다.

이게 신경쓰인다면 그냥 C:\Program Files\ACD Systems\ACDSee Free\ACDSeeFreeInTouch2.exe 파일의 이름을 바꾸어주던지 삭제하면 됩니다.

19.0.0.245 버전의 경우 메모리 누수가 심한 버그가 있다.

차후 이 문제를 해결한 업데이트가 나올때까지는 그냥 안정적인 v18.0.0.232를 사용하는 게 낫다.
