향후를 생각한다면 생각하고 말것도 없이 G3258 을 사야한다.

Q9550은 쿼드 코어와 캐시 용량 빼놓고는 장점이 없다.

 

시스템 버스를 봐라. 5 GT/s 대 1333 Mhz. 거기에다가 G3258은 CPU 자체에 HD Graphics 까지 내장되어 있다.

그리고 64비트 윈도우로 넘어가는 추세에서, Q9550 을 지원하는 기존출시보드 중 16 GB 가 최고 이므로 당연히 G3258 이다. 

윈도우 8.1 공식 지원 드라이버 측면에서도 G3258 이 유리하다.

 

Q9550 의 중고 제품 가격이 G3258 과 비슷한데 비슷한 경우의 선택은 당연히 G3258 이다. 

전기세 잡아먹는 Q9550 의 합리적인 중고 가격은 G3258 보다 만원 이상은 떨어져야 할 것으로 보인다.

Disabling Kaspersky Internet Security 2014 Welcome Screen on every start up.

I've installed the new KIS 2014 on my Win8.1Pro a couple days ago and noticed that every time I restart computer an annoying KIS Welcome Screen appears. We can see a "disable this message" option on that screen but looks like it's not working because I selected it and same screen appears on every start up.

I read somewhere that the reason for that is because I'm using a trial key (the OEM 90 days key from november_ra1n).

So I found out a way to remove that annoying welcome screen.

 

1- Go Safe Mode.
2- Run Regedit.
3- Go [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\KasperskyLab\protected\AVP14.0.0].
4- Modify HidePromo to 1 (disable). If there's no HidePromo, create a new String Value "REG_SZ" with Value name: HidePromo and Value data: 1.

위의 3 제품 모두 다 775 타입의 웬만한 CPU는 다 지원합니다.

펜티엄 531, 펜티엄 D 820, Q6600, Q9650 전부 다 지원합니다.

 

ASRock G41M-GS3 에즈윈 의 경우 4G 단면메모리는 지원하지 않습니다. 양면으로 사용하셔야 하고, 오버클럭은 별도로 지원하지 않습니다.

GA-G41MT-S2 의 경우 삼성 4 GB 35나노와 호환성에 문제가 있다는 보고가 있습니다.

 

펜티엄 D8xx 이나 D9xx 계열 CPU는 최대 메모리를 4GB 밖에 지원하지 않습니다.

즉 메인보드에서 최대 8기가를 지원하고 4GB 2개를 꼽아도 8기가를 인식하지 못합니다. 

CPU가 지원을 하지 못하기 때문이죠.

실제로 펜티엄 D 820 2.80 Ghz 는 Physical Address Extensions 가 32비트입니다.

Intel® G41 Express Chipset  의 경우 Physical Address Extensions 가 36비트이지만, 공식적으론  D8xx 이나 D9xx 계열 CPU는 지원하지 않습니다.
